WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

scissors

pencil

crayons and markers

plastic table covers or tissue paper—in assorted colors*

glue stick

poster board

plastic jewels, glitter glue, crepe paper streamers, and cotton balls (optional)

cellophane tape

* Author’s note : Plastic table covers are lightweight and inexpensive and come in a wide variety of colors. They can be found at many department and craft stores in the party section.

WHAT TO DO:

1. Print and cut out the hat pattern from here. Use a pencil or marker to trace four patterns onto the plastic table covers or tissue paper in the colors you wish. For special holiday colors, see the note below. Cut the patterns out.
